It was our first night of league play for the year. The weather was just what you would expect it to be in northeast Ohio in mid April. A cool 52 degrees with a light steady rain. So the conditions were just right to hit a hole in one.
I was the 3rd guy In the group to tee off. I pulled a 9 iron to cover the 140 yds being that the conditions were so wet/cold. That’s when it happened, a solid swing sent the ball high in the air with a slight fade and the. Landing 18” behind the pin and spinning back directly into the hole. That’s how I recorded my first hole in one.
