Playing with the Buenaventura Senior Men's Club in the Annual Ron Ulreich Memorial Tournament, as the defending champion, I broke out a new sleeve of Titleist Pro V1's for the occasion. On #14, 115 yards, with water on the right, multiple bunkers on the left and a prevailing left to right breeze, I hit my 9-iron with an ever-so-slight draw. It hit the green, and curled from the left slope to the right and back toward the hole and - the magic moment - disappeared. Sure enough, when we reached the green, there was the Pro V1, nestled in the hole. A first for me and what a thrill!
