  1. On Monday, May 2, 2022 at about 12:45pm, I and two regular golf buddies, Chris and Gord, were teeing off at the #5, par 3 hole at The Track in Langdon, AB. We had been joined by a single, Scott, to round out our foursome. This course is a typical prairie course which means, it can get extremely blustery. But on this day, there was virtually 0 wind, calmest day in 3 years of golfing at that course. The flag was hanging limp on this west facing hole of about 123 yds from tee to back placed pin. Chris and Gord teed off first, both just missing the green which is quite long and upward sloping with bunkers at the back left and right, and with a steep banked slough between tee and green right side. It was then my turn. The tee area had almost no grass, but it was flat. I picked my weapon of choice, a png G410 Pitching Wedge, and a Titleist ProV1 ball. Teed it a bit higher than usual - I'd rather go higher than long for this shot, and knowing how the green sloped I felt the risk of rolling long was less. Set up, then gave it a rip - perfect connection, straight and high ball flight, then we started to coax it when we could see it coming down directly over the flag - 'Go In! Go In! Go In!' It bounced a couple feet in front twice and then the ball disappeared. I did it! Dancing, whooping, high-fiving all around by us, the two landscape workers in someone's backyard, and the 4-some on an adjacent hole all joined in. Wow! I did it. What a feeling!
