It was hole #6 at Olmos Basin Golf Course in San Antonio during a competition round on the ACGT Amateur Tour. It was 173 yards, a little downwind, with the pin on the back right of the green. I hit an 8 iron just trying to give myself a putt at birdie, but as soon as I hit it I knew it was going to be close. Flight had high starting just right of the green with about a 5 yard draw back to the pin. The ball bounced once and went behind the ridge in front of the pin, so I thought it was going to be close, but then we saw the top of the ball over the ridge for a split second before it disappeared again. Crazy thing is that there was a car honking not far away, about halfway through my backswing. First Hole In One so I'm keeping that ProV1!
