Tierra del Sol in The Villages, FL, hole 17, 128 yards to the pin. Played a decent front 9 but on a warm and windy day I was really struggling on the back 9. Stepping to the tee I thought this would be a really wierd time to get a hole in one. I would be embarrassed to show anyone my scorecard for my 1st H-I-O. Fatigued, I used my 6 iron against the wind and hit a perfect high, straight ball (Titleist Tour Soft) over the water, to the green where it bounced twice, then rolled about 5 feet before I saw the ball dissappear into the hole. I couldn't believe it actually happened. It was a nice way to finish and lift the spirits.
