I, along with three people who I joined for the day’s round, were playing the Eagle 9 at Okeeheelee Golf Course in West Palm Beach, FL. The 7th hole is a 173 yard par 3 that is surrounded by mounds all around the green. Of course not expecting anything spectacular, I hit my Titleist AVX with my 6 iron and watched it draw towards the green. I lost sight of it once it covered the mounds and thought to myself that’s a good shot. Then I heard it, “clink!” I told my playing partners I think I just made a hole in one. Not watching as intently as me, they couldn’t confirm my belief. As we drove the carts on the path to the back of the green I’m looking for a golf ball. Nothing! I’m really getting excited. As we walk towards the hole I see it, my ball’s in the cup. Hole in One!!!! We took some pictures then I started calling and texting my golf buddies. Congratulations we’re flowing in. I had a great round and an awesome day at the golf course. May everyone experience this at least once.
