It is with great pride and honor to announce that I made my first hole in one at Country Land Golf Course in Cumming, GA. I was playing in a threesome with Jeff Miller and Jim Quick. We approched Hole #15 which is a 175 yard par 3 and the #6 handicap hole on the course with an elevated green. I decided to use my Driver since there was also a slight wind in my face. I made greaat contact with the Titleist Pro V1 and the ball was heading for a nice landing on the green to the right of the flag. Once I knew that I was safely on the green, I turned to my playing partners and Jim told me that he thought it had gone in the hole. I turned around and did not see the ball, but thought it just rolled past the flag. Jeff Miller approached the green looking in the sand traps and first cut before he went to the hole to CONFIRM, it was a HOLE IN ONE! We always say that it is the Promise of the Next Shot that keeps us coming back and this experience will be one that I will have for the rest of my life!
