My name is Jack Lund. I'm 90 years old. I've been playing golf most of my life. Yesterday, May 18,2022, after all those years of playing golf, I had my first hole in one on the par3 5th hole of course number 5 at Pinehurst Country Club, Pinehurst NC. Hole #5 is a 141 yard par 3, and With a 7 iron, I hit a high Titlelist ProV-1 with a slight draw that landed 5 feet from the pin and rolled in. I finished the round by, ironically, shooting my age right on the nose (90) .Needless to say, my playing partners were as elated as I was, and they proved that by the number of pitchers of beer they consumed later in my honor.
