Yesterday 29th May 2022 I played the front 9 holes of The Abbey Golf Club in Redditch Worcestershire, England with my Dad and Grandad.

I was having a great round and made a 7 on hole 5 which is a long par 5.

On hole 6, I took to the tee with my driver 120yards to the pin over a little stream. It was a lovely strike, up high and all over the pin, 2 bounces and it disappeared in the hole.

My dad and grandad stood in disbelief as I turned, dropped my club and sobbed happy tears. I’m 8 years old, this kind of thing is unreal.

I had multiple rounds of applause from other players on the course and of course offered to buy everyone in the 19th a drink (with grandads money)

My uncle Mike had the success of playing on the European Tour when he was younger and now plays in Senior events so I hope to follow in his footsteps and one day have a Titleist tour bag with my name on it :)
