Elkhorn Ridge is a beautiful golf course near Spearfish in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The hole-in-one that happened on the third hole, par three, is 167 uphill with pine trees on the right and left and a sand trap in front of the green. The ball was straight, landed on the fringe, rolled on the green, and seemed to disappear. The skeptical part of me looked first past the green, but I could not locate the ball until I lifted the flag. I used a Titleist ProV1 ball and was thrilled with the shot on Friday, May 27, 2022.
