It was a beautiful day in SW Florida and we decided to play a reciprocal at a fairly new course just North of us. My husband and I played with a father and his son. The greens had just been punched, so they were pretty slow. We came up to the 17th tee, which is a lot shorter than the par 3's on our home course. So I grabbed a club that wouldn't go too far but make it to the green easily. The green was saddle-shaped so you could not see the back. When I hit my ball it looked as if it disappeared past the hole, but the son asked if it went in. I had a similar experience where I thought it did but was disappointed, so I said "no, if it had, I'd be screaming." Well, when I got to the center of the green and only saw 3 balls, I was thinking, where is mine? So I went back to the pin and there it was! So, I screamed, LOL!
