Hi During the Captains Day competition on 25th June 2022 I got a hole in one on the third hole at Hagley golf course. 3 members of my 4 ball tee’d off of which one had beaten the existing nearest the pin marker being some 8 feet from the hole which was in a tough position behind the right hand bunker. As this was a tough position I decided to punch an 8 iron on to the green and not worry about nearest the pin which was 131 yards from white tee. I just wanted to get the ball on the green and 2 putt for a par. The ball landed 10 yards short of the green which I wanted as the green was hard and not receptive. Unfortunately/fortunately the ball bounced right, rolled over the bunker bank and towards the hole. It then disappeared and we saw the flag shake. I thought the ball hit the pin and then ran off the green, however my playing partners disagreed. We raced up to the green and there was the ball in the hole. My first one ever
