Playing with my normal Friday group. There are about 16 of us. Everyone throws in $10 and we play skins as a group. Additionally, we have a hole in one club at our club. When someone gets a hole in one, you throw $5 in the pot. When someone hits one, they get the pot.

With my foursome, I hit a 105 yard shot with my 52* Titleist SM8 wedge. The ball took a couple of bounces, drifted left and went in the hole.

I am a 20 handicapper. I cannot argue that anyone should get strokes on a par 3, but I did. When I got back to the clubhouse, when announcing the skins, they shouted out "0". That's hard to beat.

With the hole in one, I received almost $2000 from the hole in one pool. I used it to buy a new Titleist TSi2 driver, fairway woods, and hybrids.
