I was playing with my regular group at the White Birch golf course located in Barnesville Pennsylvania during our weekly round with the senior league. The 9th hole is an up hill par 3 with left side bunker guarding the approach shot. I knew I needed to take an extra club to get over the bunker. The shot made it over the bunker and made a bounce to the right. I told the my playing partners that the ball in all likelihood was off the back of the green. I was concerned that ball was not anywhere to be seen or off the back of the green - one of my playing partners suggested looking in the cup. When I looked in the cup which was half full of water from the early morning watering I was surprised to reach in and found my Titleist matte green velocity ball !!
