I was playing a practice round the day before our courses yearly 2-man tournament.
Our fourth hole is a short 105 to 120 par 3, with a two-tier tee box.
We were playing the lower box this day which usually plays a club more, so I grabbed my pitching wedge, for the blue pin on the back of the oval shaped green.
I prefer not to tee the ball on shorter par 3's!
I'm first to hit, so I found a raised tuft of grass, placed my PRO V1X on the ground, when I swung the ball started left of the pin but had a little cut on it, it landed four feet short left of the pin, popped straight up in the air, landed then spun right hitting pin and dropped into cup!!!
I've been playing golf since I was 19, I'm now 56 and this would be my first hole in one ever!!!
