Standing on the tee, I mentioned to another member of the foursome I aced this hole in 2013. I mentioned its a tough green to hit and hold for me now, and every time I play it, I’m amazed I really did get a hole in one back then.

I’m 79 yrs old, but still play this particularly 9 from the regular tees - not Senior tees. Its about 165 yds, mostly uphill

In 2013, I used a 5 hybrid. This time, I pulled out my 3 wood. I hit it it perfectly. It bounced just in front of the green and rolled straight towards the pin. We all thought it was going to be really close, but lo and behold it went in.

I kept thinking - this is insane. I seldom hit this huge green, yet I have TWO holes in one on it.
