The story actually starts with my wife getting her first hole in one this week on Aug. 16th. An exciting time for her of course. There was lots of conversation about her being caught up to me now as I had had my first one several years ago. Today on Aug. 21st, five days later I got my second hole in one. Luckily for me she was there to witness it or I would never have been able to convince her I wasn't BSing. Probably not too many couples can say they both aced in the same week. The 4th hole here at Bighorn is an interesting one. It's an elevated green. When the flag is at the back you can't see the hole from any of the tee boxes. It was a nice surprise when we got up there to NOT see my ball on the green even though we knew it should be there. Sure enough it was in the hole. Two years ago on the same hole the wife tee'd off and just as we got up to the green we were in time to see a coyote jump on her ball and start to play with it. You can see him laying there with the ball between his paws. I still say she should have gotten a penalty stroke for advancing the ball closer to the hole even though she didn't do it herself lol. And of course there is always the hazards of the Bighorn Sheep on the course.
