9-2-2022 - My hole in ones never seem to come without some interesting events surrounding them. The current one on August 4, 2022, Canongate Lee Course Sharpsburg, GA, hole number 8 par 3, from 143 yards with an 8 Iron. I was just hitting the ball terribly on the practice tee, hit like 12 (dare I say the word) spanks in a row, I couldn't believe it, where was the coming from? I am not a bad golfer, handicap at 4.9. So I gave up and went to the course to begin my round. Needless to say the first tee shot and every shot that day I was thinking about this, fortunately I was able to focus on the process and make some decent shots that day, mentally I have not been through a tougher round. My first hole in one was July 20, 2019, which I believe I also emailed Titleist about, was at the Coweta Club, Newnan GA hole 13 par 3, 6 iron from 174 yards. I had just been fitted for and started using these brand new clubs, this was the first shot I had ever hit with the new 6 iron. With both hole in ones I was using a Titleist Pro V1 ball.
