It was August 13th, 2005. I was a 15 year old junior golfer playing around a 5 or 6 handicap. My goal of the year was to be able to play in our clubs mens club championship where they would allow juniors to compete if they were under a 5 handicap. I practiced all summer and got to a 4 handicap and qualified. During the first round on the par 3 13th hole I hit my tee shot to inches of the hole. I put my name on the kp marker and asked my playing partners “ what would you have to do if you got a hole in one for the kp marker”. I wasn’t sure if you put it in the hole or to the side. They said just put your name on it, write hole in one and place it on the side of the green. A few holes later, the par 3 17th came up and I got my first hole in one. I promptly wrote my name on the kp marker and placed it to the side
