I’m a 64 year old woman living in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, and I’ve been golfing on and off since I was a teenager. On Monday, September 5 my husband, brother and a friend went to Alderdale Greens to do 9 holes. I was hitting the ball really well but unfortunately I had two bad holes. However when I hit my tee shot on the #8 par 3 I knew it looked good and was most likely on the green. I was also using a Titleist ball, which I try to use as often as possible. As we headed up the fairway I was trying to see where my ball was. A man coming up #7 called over and told me “the ball went in”. It took a few seconds for it to register. I was shocked. It was quite exciting!! I was using a 26 degree hybrid not a 9 iron like I used to use but a hole in one is a hole in one no matter what club you use. I’ve been golfing with women and men since I was a teenager and no one ever got a hole in one. I e never seen it. I’m glad I was using the Titleist ball as they are my favorite. Thanks for letting me tell my story
