I just starting playing golf during the past 2 years. The wind was light but it impacted the 3 other players who hit high shots as the wind knocked them down just in front of the green. My shot was different, it was a line drive which went over the sand trap guarding the green and hit a large mound that was between the bunker and green, which was blocking the view of the hole itself, we could just see the flag. We were thinking my ball probably stopped on the down slope of the mound, but probably didn't make it to the cup. When I got up to the green, I looked for my ball but could not see it, I was thinking where did the ball go, first thought maybe it ran completely off the green. Before proceeding to walk to the back of the green, on a whim, I peeked a the hole cup and to my amazement, I saw my ball in at the bottom of the cup. I then told my playing partners, and they said no way, really. So the ball must have hit the mound and just rolled slowly directly into the cup. Unbelievable!
