On June 9th 2022, I was playing in local Athens sports hall of fame tourney that my chiropractor invited me to play on his team! I got caught up at work so was little late to course so had no time to putt or hit range balls basically checked in and went straight to the #2 tee at Canebrake par 5. ( our chosen shotgun starting hole). Crazy thing is what happens next , hit my drive of course, guy in our group bombed a drive so we had 6 iron in and then I hit a putt on the green , as we missed our eagle putt and made birdie (so 3 total shots in for the tourney). Next is hole #3 par playing 181 yds. As we arrived at the tee we saw this beautiful blue GMC 2022 Canyon Truck that was prize for the first ACE that day. As I was last to hit we deliberated in group and decided on yardage we thought it was playing with wind etc and I pull 6 iron and let jt rip. It was about a 1-2 yd draw that was now heading directly for pin, boom first bounce and then second bounce ( still directly on line) and we start talking to it GO GO GO, GO IN GO IN, and then BAM my Titleist 1 ProV1x disappeared and the rest is history! Needless to say the beautiful blue truck is now in my driveway!
