I carded my ace at a US Kids Tournament at Oakwood CC (Palms Course) in sunny Arizona a couple of weeks ago. It was a bit of a rocky start through 6, but my fortunes changed on the 7th hole. It was a 115 yd elevated green over water. I pured my 8 iron and knew it was going to be close. It was one of those shots you watch for a few seconds afterwards (it didn't disappoint!). After that I definitely got in a better rhythm for the rest of the day.
I feel fortunate, not just having a two at 11yrs old, but they both came at tournaments with my dad caddying for me (which is a super cool experience).
