The fifth hole at Crooked Tree golf course in Petosky Michigan was playing 157 yards. I hit my 8-iron with a slight draw, the ball landed just right of the pin and spun toward the hole. None of us were certain that it went in so no celebration from the tee box. As we approached the green and did not see a ball on the green my heart started to race. Another player in my group called the guys back from the next tee box as we were part of an eight man group on an annual fall trip. After sneaking up on the hole and discovering the ball did in fact go in, it was high fives and hugs all around and of course drinks at a local watering hole post round. It is a memory I will never forget that happened in a spectacular setting with a great group of guys.
