I've been playing golf for over 30 years and finally managed to have my very first hole in one playing in the clubs Proffesional Day Competition. I was playing our 8th hole at Vickers Cross GC, the green had a center pin location and was playing 174 yards. I holed my 6 iron for an ace, my playing partners went crazy with wild celebrations which made the achievement in more rewarding. It was so nice to have celebrity status at the club which made the achievement even more satisfying.
