During an exhausting round of golf, by exhausting I mean my clubs and I were NOT working as a team that day. It was that time of day when you could not see because the Arizona sun was super bright and right in your eyes. My husband had just finished teeing off on the blue tees and we were trying to speed up play as it was getting late in the day. I had borrowed a demo Cobra 5 wood with a seniors men shaft from the pro shop because I only have a driver and a 5 hybrid in my bag. It was on hole #15 of Grandview golf course and it was about 155 yards to the hole. When I hit the Cobra 5 wood I saw it going straight towards the pin, but I lost it in the sun. I thought it was going to be long and be in the sand trap. When we got to the green we did not see my ball, I looked in both sand traps and behind the sand traps, but no ball. My husband said, go look in the hole...there it was. The golf gods decided to give me a break. The best part of the story is my husband plays golf all the time and has played all his life and he has never made a hole in one. I play only when I visit Arizona and this is my second hole in one. All I can say is IDK!
