It started pouring rain on the second hole. We sat it out in the clubhouse for about an hour. Two of the four people in our group decided to call it a day and get a rain check. My son and I decided to go back out although it was a very wet out. The 8th hole at Innisbrook Island course is 140 yards uphill to a green that slopes right to left and back to front fairly severely. I hit a high draw just to the right of the hole, it disappeared. Could not tell because of the slope of the green if it went in or spun off the green. When I approached the green I brought by wedge and putter just in case. As I approached the hole I saw where my ball hit about 3 feet immediately to the right of the hole. To my delight the ball was in the hole! Any other day had the green been dry it may not have gone in the hole. Ironically my Titleist Pro VI, ball number was a 1!
