My wife and I golfed at Indian Hills in Okemos Michigan on 7-18-22, it was a beautiful sunny day in the mid 70"s. holes 3 and 4 are both par 3's and I have been hitting the same (cally 7 wood) club all year on these 2 holes, we play the course 15-20 times a year. On the 4th hole I hit the 7 wood with a very nice draw, the pin was centered and there was a lot of shade covering the left side of the green, with numerous tress that I usually find on the same side of the green/hole. My shot appeared to go on the green so I assumed I was on, but as we approached I could not find my ball. Since I have hit into the trees on occasion I figured it happened again so I dropped off the green, chipped and putted in to find my ball in the hole ! It was an amazing surprise, my first hole in one and I was able to share it with my beautiful wife, Linnette Porter
