The day was perfect, temperature in the mid 20s Celcius, and the pin was in the back left corner of the green, behind the sand trap that lays in front on the left side of the green. I measured the distance with a laser range finder and selected a hybrid for the shot. I teed the ball in the middle of the tee box and swung with confidence. The ball sailed toward the middle of the green with a soft draw. It hit the left middle of the green, hopped a couple of times and rolled into the cup. Just as I was about to swing a marshal came up to the green from behind and stopped to let me hit my shot before moving forward. He witnessed the ball from leaving the club face to rolling into the cup.
