My dad was leaving for the winter so of course we had to golf before he left. This story is in Buffalo, NY so the season is short, the setting is hole 2 at Lockport Town & Country Club. Hole 2, back pin, 138 yards to get in there. Usually, I would play for the front with a 54 degree, but with a slight north wind I grabbed the 50 for the first time. Struck it pure, possibly a groove low and it landed 4-5 feet passed and spun right back in. I was only 90% sure at first because of some fall leaves covering the hole, but after the longest 138 yard walk of my life, I knew I had finally accomplished a hole in one.
