11/23/2023. Got one last round in before the winter season was upon us. Was a cold and cloudy day, 42 degrees. Came to the 15th hole at Nonesuch Golf Club in Scarborough Maine. Was playing at 124 yard with a slight wind in our face. Chose a 9 iron. Teed up a Titleist Prov1 into the frozen turf. Knew I hit a good shot when it left the club. Saw it hit the green and bent down to pick up my tee. That is when I heard the screaming “It’s in the hole, it went in the hole!!” My son-in-law was the first to yell it. I thought he was punking me. Hugs and high fives followed. It was such an incredible feeling, one I will never forget!
