Let me set the scene just coming off a birdie on the par 5 12th at a sunny Cirencester in the Cotswolds, I say to my playing partners lets do that again on the par 3 and get myself some money for the 2 (in a comps we get money for 2's) I pull out my 7 iron white tees were playing 159 yards very minimal wind right to left. And i have hit this ball the sweetest i have ever hit in my life. i thought it was still going to be short, i was telling it to go. then 1 bounce and the ball disappeared i thought it had ran past the flag that was at the front of the green but then i heard an eruption from the group in front on the 14th which then my playing partners starting celebrating and that is how my first ever hole in 1 went :)
