Skylark Golf Club - 19th June

I was representing my club in a Seniors match against our sister club, The Heron. Our opponents had gone first and my partner was safely in play. I decided to go for the green. The flag was in the centre of the green so distance across the dogleg was c260 yards. I took the driver and hit it well, over the trees and it tracked directly on line. I saw it land short and go on the green but didn’t see it drop. As we approached the green I couldn’t see it but the group in front told me it had dropped. I looked in the hole and there it was - cue massive celebrations! My first hole in one and it’s an Albatross!!
