We are a group of 8 guys from Louisville, KY who have been going on a golf trip together for now 22 years ...we have been to the panhandle (Camp Creek and Sharks Tooth), Gulf Shores (Peninsula and Kiva Dunes) and the last two years, the Fort Myers area.

In all of our 22 years of trips, ranging from 8 to 12 guys from 4 to 7 days of golf, hundreds and hundreds of rounds, nobody has ever had a hole in one...until this year. On May 16, we played The Club at Olde Cypress in Naples, a Pete Dye design. On #12, the signature hole, a short but challenging par 3 with a peninsula green playing around 105 yards, I made the first ever hole-in-one, and MY first in more than 50 years of playing golf.
