Playing in a shotgun scramble today and we ended on the Par 3, 3rd hole at the 1757 Club in Dulles, VA. 139 yards to the hole which was tucked behind a sand trap. Took a nice, easy swing and watched as the ball sailed towards the green. Thought to myself that it was a decent shot as long as it cleared the trap. Well, it cleared the trap, bounced twice and disappeared into the hole. No doubt what had just happened and my foursome went nuts. The people on the hole next to us saw us going crazy and started cheering for us as well! Haven't stopped smiling since!!
