I played golf on July 24, 2025 with my husband and a couple from our club in Arizona called Wickenburg Ranch. Hole 8 has been a struggle in the 11 months that we have lived here. For a while I couldn’t ever get the ball on the green even though it is 93 yards to the middle of the green. There is a scary, brushy wash between the tee and the hole. I was hoping for a high soaring shot but was a bit disappointed when the shot was hit thin but it was heading straight to the pin. Since the pin was in the back I didn’t see it go in but we all dreamed that it would be cool if it went in. My friend’s ball did just what mine used to do. It ended up in the wash. I love looking for balls (which is why I like using Titleists which I find). My hubby had to get me to come up on the green to check if my ball was in the hole. There were only two other balls on the green. Mine was in the hole!! So fun! The rest of the day felt like my birthday! The hole-in-one insurance came in handy as I bought drinks for my group and anyone else who came into the clubhouse.
