You don’t get many chances to share a story like this—maybe once in a lifetime—so I wanted to send my sincere thanks and let you know how much your product means to me.

Golf has been a thread throughout my life with my wife, Jessica. Our first unofficial “date” was a spontaneous round on Columbus Day (with a third wheel in tow), and even though I borrowed clubs and had only played a few rounds before that, I told her, “Yeah, I play golf.” The truth is, I just wanted a way to spend time with her.

From there, golf became a shared passion. We played through our dating years, chose a golf resort for our honeymoon, and filled our early marriage with as many rounds as possible. Like many couples, once our children arrived, golf gradually faded into the background—but the love for the game never left.

Jess stayed close to the sport, coaching our local high school girls’ team and playing regularly. I, on the other hand, hadn’t played a full round in nearly three years. The last attempt was cut short when I got a call mid-round that our son had dislocated his elbow. That was the last time I swung a club—until this weekend.

I was playing in the Blanchard Family Reunion tournament at North Hill Country Club, paired with Jeff Turner. We got to the 8th hole, a par 3 playing 195 yards into the wind.

I teed up my Titleist ball, took my swing, and immediately knew it was a good shot. That familiar, pure feeling. It launched straight, carried beautifully into the breeze, landed cleanly—and disappeared.

At first, I thought it might have rolled off the back. But one of my playing partners called out, “I think that went in the hole!” I was skeptical. We approached the green. No ball in sight.

Then came the moment I’ll never forget: I walked up to the cup and there it was—my Titleist, resting at the bottom of the hole.

A legitimate hole-in-one. A 195-yard shot into the wind. A once-in-a-lifetime moment.
