  1. I had my first hole in one at the Bridges Golf Club in Abbottstown, PA on Thursday, August 14 while playing in an industrial league match. It happened on Hole #7 which was playing 159 yards from the white tees. I used a 4-hyrid to record the ace. A young fellow playing with us with good eyes said he thought it went in, and I was like yeah right. We drove up to the green and I didn't see a ball just my ball mark roughly 8 feet in front of the pin. My playing partner asked if he could look in the hole and I said sure, but he didn't say anything. After fixing my ball mark I looked in the hole and there it was my Titleist ProV1 sitting in the bottom of the cup. My buddy started hooting and hollering as I stood in disbelief. It didn't hit me until I started calling my family and friends on the way back to the clubhouse as it was our last hole of the night. Of course, I had to buy the bar a round of drinks and also at the following 2 establishments I stopped after. The reason I called it "Hole in One Karma" is because on the way to the course I was rear-ended by a truck at a red light. I thought for sure this would make me late for the match as I got out of my car the man asked if I was okay which I was. He was driving an old truck that probably wasn't worth $500 and needed new tires as he slid into me on the wet road. He looked like he didn't have 2 pennies to rub together so I looked at the back of my Jeep and expected the worst, but all I had was a huge slice across my bumper. Considering the age of my car and some other scratches on it I told the man not to worry about it which was a relief to him. We got in our cars and drove our separate ways. Later that night I thought to myself I did that man a good deed by letting him go so sometimes good deeds turn into something in return, but not too many times - Karma. Someone was looking down on me and I thank him.
