It’s only taken 23 + years and it had to be on hole No 8 at Waterford Golf Club. I’ve actually got one in the hole on the fly only to hit the bottom of the cup and bounce out so if it was going to happen that was going to be the hole. Club Championship yesterday playing 147 Titleist 620 MB 9 Iron , ProV1x No3 Flag middle right , got a stock 9 iron landed just past the flag on the right hit and spun back and to the left for I guess 2-3 seconds when it disappeared! Always wondered what the reaction would be. It was bliss , threw the 9 iron (sorry club didn’t mean to) just awesome awesome awesome. So happy to have that monkey off my back it’s been a long time coming!
