I have been playing golf for 62 years and had come to the realization that a hole in one was not in my future. I have been all around the hole on many a Par 3 but never found its way into the hole until December 4, 2025. a very chilly round, after an under achiving front 9 (47 ugh). I told my playing partners that I needed to focus to keep my string of rounds in the 80's continuing. Stepping up on the PAR 3 16th tee box with the pin sitting 155 yards away and 2 over on the back side, I grab my 6 iron and with the mental picture of a high draw landing just past the pin and spinning back into the hole. With my swing, reality set in and I hit a thin worm burner that hits the upper tier of the green and disapears to the lower portion of the green. My playing partners, Fish and Paulie give their usual supportive comments " nice shot ***" as we proceed to the green, my ball is not visiable and think the usual. " ***, it rolled off the green into the crap" Fish yells "it's in the hole" --- A Christmas Miracle
