WOW...It finally happened!

After 1000s of rounds of golf and in my 70th year of life I finally made a Hole-in-One.

It happened on the 13th hole at Ruggles Ferry Golf Club in Strawberry Plains Tennessee on December 17th, 2025.

It was a very cold and windy afternoon, and I was playing with two other friends. The hole was playing about 135 yards, and I used my 8 iron. My shot landed nearly pin high on the slope about 15 feet right of the cup. It was a good-looking shot with a nice slight draw. It bounced once and proceeded to role toward the hole. We all watched and my golfing partners screamed that they thought it went in. I was not sure, as I thought it might be hiding behind the flag stick - but sure enough it went in for an ACE!!!

What a thrill. Now of course, I can't wait to make another one!!
