I've been golfing on and off for almost 40 years, getting more serious in the last 5 years. I play at Southport Golf Club on the Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia. On our 2B hole I stepped up to 114 MTRS with a Pitching Wedge and hit the most pure shot I've ever hit and from the moment It left the club I thought, this is going to be good. And it was, two bounces, a little backspin and in it dropped. I couldn't believe it! My playing partners reminded me to write down on the NTP card and you wouldn't believe it, I was the second HIO for the day on that hole. I still get my name on the honour board though . Amazing first HIO.
