Hit a pure 7 iron into a blustery 15-20 mph wind on the 17th hole at Southwood Golf Club in Tallahassee, Florida on February 19th. The ball was hit pure and left the club face on a perfect line and never left the pin. I watched the ball bounce once then lost sight of it. Didn’t actually see it go in, or hear it hit the flag, and as the green tails off quickly behind the hole we were fearful that it rolled off the back and we merely lost sight of it from the tee. But, as I walked across the green and peeked into the hole, I saw my numbers ‘00’ on my Pro-V1X staring back at me. What a feeling, and only the second time in my lifetime! Can’t wait for the next one…; hope I don’t have to wait as long as I did for the 2nd…
