  1. ( As told by his Dad) So, Thomas is only 3 years into the game but a fast learner. His Grandpa, my Dad, taught me the game and I've passed on his knowledge to my son Thomas. His Grandpa had a Hole in One, I haven't and neither has his other 2 uncles, my brothers and we are a big golfing family. In fact, we gather each year in Ocala to celebrate our Dad's passing at his favorite course, play, tell stories and yes, have a beer or two. Today however was different at Sugar Hill, a local Public Course. The weather was iffy and I didn't want to play. Thomas said, let's play 9 and see how the weather is at the turn. I said okay and we were out the door. When we got to the course, the foursome in front of us didn't show up so that pushed our time up a few minutes BUT that meant no warm up. With the possibility of bad weather, we took a chance. We came up to the 3rd hole, playing the back tees, Par 3, 146 yards, uphill, little wind in the face and he chose an 8 iron. It was a beautiful high shot, crisp connection and we saw it bounce maybe twice and then disappear. Now, there's a little that blocked our view of actually watching it go in but said to him, "Wow, that could've gone in". I have video but couldn't attach it but here are some screen shots from the video itself. I'm so proud of him.
