Was playing with the high school buddies at our home course. That day was different however, as I normally wear contacts, I had lost one earlier in the day. Rather than cancel the daily round, or elect for glasses, I carried on. As we got to the 3rd hole, it plays roughly 122 over water with a tough bunker short right. This green has some serious slope back to front as well. I took my 54 degree as I always do and hit my shot. Felt good, but couldn’t see it very well. Next thing I know the guys in my group go crazy screaming it went in. With my poor eye sight I couldn’t even see it drop. Called my dad, grandpa, and even my godfather to let them know. Proceeded to probably shoot over a 100 but I could care less. Thank goodness was we were all under 21 so it was gatorades at the clubhouse on me.
