Hi Titleist Team!

My name is James Rutherford and yesterday, May 29, 2026, I finally made my first hole in one! I was playing in a twosome with my Girlfriend's mom, Patti, at Elbow Springs Golf Club in Clagary, Ab, while my Girlfriend, Dana, and three of her close friends, were on the green of the hole behind us.

I wasn't playing that well as Patti and I approached the 7th tee of the Springs 9; a 184 yard Par 3 over water and sand with a back pin. I jokingly said, man I hope I dont get a hole-in-one as my score card is a little ugly today! Patti laughed and said I was due for one.

I stepped on to the Blue tee box and shot the flag with my range finder and it read 188 yards. I grabbed my 6 iron and placed my Yellow ProV1x #1 on the tee. My swing was clean and contact was pure. The ball flight was tracking dead on the pin. Patti said', "That looks good!" and I was quietly saying "Go go go!" My ball landed, took one little bounce, a bit of a roll, then dissapeared into the cup! I couldn't believe it. I just dropped my club and started yelling!! I even ran back to the 6th green yelling "Dana I did it! I actually did it!"

What an absolute rush! Thank you, Titleist, for being a part of a special moment that I will never forget! I could not imagine doing it with another ball in my bag!

Now on the hunt for number 2!
