A few weeks ago, nothing was going right on the golf course. So I decided not to play golf during my 10-day vacation.

When I got back, I played a casual round and realized I was back on track. Two days later, my friends and I decided to play the short course to practice our approach shots.

Then it happened on the 5th hole. A par 3, 50 meters to the pin. I hit my sand wedge and the ball landed on the green, about 1.5 meters from the pin.

The ball stopped quite neatly and rolled very slowly but steadily the roughly 1.5 meters toward the hole until it finally disappeared into it. Ecstatic, I ran to the hole and couldn't believe it, but I retrieved the ball from the hole and was thrilled that it had finally worked out.
