I waited 47 years (I'm 65 years young) for this day and it finally happened last Friday June 05, 2026 at my home course, The Golf Club at Boulder Ridge in San Jose, CA. Hole #11 is 170 yards down hill with a hazard to clear and a sloping green from right to left and back to front. The pin was middle left. There is OB left and huge boulders to the right. The funny thing is I called my shot, "take it over the flag and suck it back in", that's exactly what happened. It's what I've always envisioned. I swung my Titleist T250 8 iron. You know that feeling when you just pure one. One of the best feelings in the world. The ball never left the flag hit about 15 feet above the flag and spun down the gentle slope and into the cup. It tracked perfectly and I just couldn't believe it really went in. I've come so close many times. The feeling is amazing and also a sense of relief. At 65 I began doubting it would ever happen. Big shout out to Titleist who I believe makes the very best clubs out there. 13-14 clubs in my bag are Titleist and I'll never change! My Handicap is 6.9
