  1. I almost bailed on Golf as I was feeling unusually tired, but me being me and not wanting to let my Golf Buddies down I pulled up my big boy pants and hit it onto men’s league at Cypress Ridge Golf Course in Topeka, Kansas. hole number eight is an extra special hole for many of us, it is a memorial hole for our lost too soon friend Bj Foster, who we suddenly lost 14 months ago. I had played golf with Bj on the Wednesday before he passed. Number eight plays around 130 yards pin placement was on the lower right side of the green across the pond wind was blowing left or right at about 20 mph l choose an iron because of the strong winds and teed up on the left side of the tee box, aiming for the middle of the green, hoping the wind would steer it to the right. I struck it well right at the center of the green the wind pushing it from left to right, it landed 3 feet to the left of the pen. About 4 inches above the pin bounced once and spun towards the hole, then disappeared then chaos corrupted. what a great moment..
