Playing at The Barn, in North Ogden, UT. On hole #10, with a 165 yard tee box. I was swinging a brand new Maltby 9W. I had had the shaft shortened by 1/2 inch the day before, and I didn't get a chance to swing it as the grip was setting up. Since I wasn't sure of the exact yardage, I swung it pretty easy. The ball landed just short of the green and ran right up and in the hole. At 68 years old, my eyesight wasn't good enough to see the actual ending. My buddy said he thought it went in, but he also said it might have gone long and off the back. I didn't even look in the hole first, looking off the back instead. I only looked in the cup after not finding the ball off the back of the green. After trying quite a few balls I have been very happy with my Titleist Tour Soft.
